Hæ Hæ!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Over five years of fine arts training across multiple disciplines. . .yet it only took one trip to Iceland to find a creative medium that really resonated with me. Having had an exuberant career in apparel merchandising & design which allowed me to travel the world, it wasn’t until a 2010 stopover trip in Iceland that I found a foreign place to call my second home.
I traveled extensively on the remote & desolate island thirteen times over the course of four years. I hiked in wild places, explored the highlands multiple times, swam in strange waters and clocked in many miles via horseback. Although each trip was different, it always felt like the first.  Wanting to capture these moments forever, I purchased my first DSLR camera and it hasn’t left my side since.
A California transplant by way of the east coast, I love to spend time in state & national parks, camping and roaming outside with my camera. Aesthetically, I am most inspired by the images and videos my grandparents took throughout the 1960s & 70s of their travels in national parks.  When I am not adventuring, planning trips for myself or others, I can be found in a yoga studio, my pottery studio or playing with plants.
My motto in life--do what you love, with people you love!  Never stop dreaming, always be authentic and keep smiling!
“Not I, nor anyone else, can travel that road for you. You must travel it for yourself.”
— Walt Whitman
